Gameplay

Wazdan are a great studio for taking what works and making it better – and Great Book of Magic Deluxe is a perfect example. The original Great Book of Magic is a widely popular online and mobile slot game but, rather than just sitting back and letting players play, Wazdan have brought new graphics and new sound to make this game that much more entertaining.

The gorgeous new look has the player entering the dark and dusty Wizard’s chambers to open up the Great Book of Magic and use the spells to create wealth. The piles of books, the eerie glowing nimbus, and the superbly crisp artwork all lead to a game that has really gone to the next level.

Add in the ominous soundtrack and you have a thrill ride on your hands.

Symbols

As in the original game, the symbols range from the usual royals to the staples of the wizarding trade like snakes and owls and moonlit towers.

Symbols from lowest to highest value: 10, J, Q (same value); K, A (same value); Snake, Owl (same value); Tower, Great Book; Wizard.

The Great Book symbol also acts as both a Wild and a Scatter.

Graphics

The updated graphics are gorgeous – colourful, crisp, and perfect for the feel of the game.

Sound

The new soundtrack, while not too over the top, brings in a dark and ominous drone to the game that adds to the sense of danger and thrills.

There are not a lot of bonuses but those that are present are good for pulling in better wins.
